Application
ACSR - Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced
ACSR aerial conductor is made of steel core (wire or strand) and aluminium 1350 (one or multiple layers). It has excellent tensile strength; therefore it is commonly used for long spans.
Note
Current ratings are based on ambient temperature of 30°C, a maximum conductor temperature of 75°C, rural weathered, summer noon and intensity of solar radiation 1000 W/m².
